Maria is the driving force behind Bilby Productions. She is passionate about entertaining and teaching children. She hand picks and trains the best performers to join her team.

Maria, a performing arts graduate, began her career as a professional dancer and singer performing with Australia's leading companies such as The Australian Ballet and The Australian Opera Company and in productions such as Anything Goes, Seven Little Australians, The Hunting of the Snark and The Phantom of the Opera.

After working in state of the art productions, Maria wanted to bring the same high standard of performance to children.

Maria has worked as a creative director, writer and choreographer over the last twenty years on professional stage, video, cabaret, concerts and television productions including; The Darling Harbour Christmas Pageant, Les Miserables at The Hills Centre, A Grand Night For Singing at The Footbridge Theatre, and The Bilbies for Foxtel.

In 2002 she began teaching musical theatre in primary schools across Western Sydney and created DAS 3D learning (Dance Act Sing), a hugely successful program which enhances literacy comprehension and builds selfesteem in students. Visit DAS 3D learning for more information.
